Menorah Lighting at The Chevy Chase Lake Plaza

Known as the Festival of Lights, Chanukah, is a Jewish festival celebrated for eight days with nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and food. 

To celebrate the first night of Chanukah, Chabad Chevy Chase is hosting a Menorah Lighting. 

Chabad Chevy Chase is a community center for Jewish life and learning. Their mission is to strengthen Jewish awareness in the Chevy Chase community. By bringing a sense of enthusiasm through adult education programs, family events, Shabbat and Holiday programming, and Jewish networking events. 

They have a philosophy to create Jewish unity through Ahavat Yisrael (love for fellow man). Dedicated to the well-being of the community. Chabad is known for its warmth and respect for all, regardless of affiliation or background, and is dedicated to upholding this tradition. 

Chabad Chevy Chase is hosting a Menorah Lighting event for the first day of Chanukah, on December 18th at 4:45 pm in the Chevy Chase Lake Plaza. Featuring the Menorah Lighting ceremony, live performers, and food!
